You end up with a scorched outer skin and a core that’s still freezing. We did things differently. We built our infrared lamps specifically for the Husky HyPET footprint, but we focused ondeep penetration. Here’s the secret: we tweaked the quartz composition and the wavelength. Instead of the heat sitting on the surface, the energy actually punches through to the thicker parts—the base and the neck. It’s a huge win for your timeline. Because the heat gets where it needs to go faster, you can crank up the machine speed without worrying about a cold spot ruining your batch. The practical stuff You don’t need to rebuild your racks or call in a specialist for a custom install. These are drop-in replacements. We use high-grade quartz glass because, let’s be honest, high-wattage loads tend to burn out cheap tubes fast. We also stuck with industry-standard connectors. You just wire them up during a changeover and get back to work. Simple as that. One thing to keep in mind… More heat density is great, but it does put more pressure on your oven’s cooling fans. If your ventilation is a bit dated or struggling, you might notice the temperature drifting over a long shift.
