One tiny slip in wattage or spectral output and suddenly you’re dealing with uneven preheating. That’s how you end up with weird wall thickness or those annoying pearlescent streaks in your PET bottles. It’s a headache nobody wants. That’s why we built our replacement lamps to be a dead ringer for the originals. We wanted to make sure your heat profile stays flat and predictable. It’s more than just wattage Here’s the thing: matching the OEM spec isn’t as simple as looking at a power rating. It’s all about the voltage-to-length ratio. If a lamp is even a fraction off in length, the heat density (W/cm) changes. We spent a lot of time mirroring the original resistance in our filaments. What does that mean for you? These lamps lean on short-wave infrared (SWIR) radiation. It’s the secret sauce that lets heat penetrate PET polymers faster than the medium-wave stuff. Plus, we keep the filament positioning incredibly tight. No “hot spots” on the preform, just a clean, even bake. A quick heads-up on installation These are true drop-in replacements. They fit the existing footprints and connectors without you having to modify a single thing. But a word of caution: high-wattage lamps put a lot of pressure on your oven’s cooling blowers. If your cooling system is clogged or just tired, these high-output lamps can actually overheat your machine frame.
