When the heat doesn’t actually hit the core of the preform, you end up with those annoying thin walls or that cloudy, pearlescent look that ruins a batch. We’ve been there. That’s why we built our replacement lamps specifically to fix those penetration headaches in HyPET systems. The secret is in the light Here’s the thing: most lamps just sear the surface. We tweaked the quartz composition and the halogen cycle to shift the infrared emission. Instead of just baking the outside, the heat actually sinks deep into the PET.
