When you’re looking for replacement infrared lamps, you don’t want a “universal” part that almost fits. You want something that just works. We’ve hit a 95% compatibility rate not by making generic tubes, but by obsessing over the tiny details—the exact physical footprint and the electrical load your machine actually needs. The nitty-gritty on specs Here is the thing: PET blowers are picky. If the wattage or voltage is off, you either scorch the preform or you never hit that glass transition temperature. We make sure our tubes match the Aoki frames perfectly. If a tube is even a little too short, you lose heat density. Too long? It won’t sit in the socket. To make your life easier, we stick with standard R7s and SK15 connectors. You can just wire them in. No hacking apart your harnesses or praying it fits. Why the materials matter We use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because these things go through a lot of thermal shock with rapid cycling, and cheap glass just cracks. We also use a halogen cycle. It stops the tungsten from evaporating and clouding the tube, which means your heat stays consistent for thousands of hours. For some setups, we even add special coatings. This pushes the heat into the PET wall instead of just scorching the surface. A quick heads-up on installation These lamps are powerful. They’ll speed up your cycle times and get your throughput moving faster. But there’s a catch. High-wattage tubes put more pressure on your cooling fans and reflectors. If your reflectors are pitted or looking dull, you’re basically throwing away 20% of your energy. Worse, you risk overheating the whole housing. Keep those reflectors clean. It stops the lamps from burning out early. And since we keep these in stock, you can swap them out during your next scheduled break without waiting weeks for an OEM shipment to arrive.
